For the final season, former 3DCG Director Shuuhei Yabuta was the only returning staff member from WIT Studio. The final season’s main staff includes director Yuichiro Hayashi, character designer Tomohiro Kishi, chief animation director Daisuke Niinuma, art director Kazuo Ogura, 3D CG Director Takahiro Uezono, scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko, and music composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto. The show’s final season, Attack on Titan season four is the first to be produced by MAPPA after WIT Studio refused to do so citing scheduling issues. The return of the series will be in conjunction with Toonami getting a half-hour back to it’s lineup which will see Toonami go until 4 am ET/PT and the rest of the lineup shifting downward as a result. Adult Swim has announced a January 9th 12:30 am ET/PT for the English dubbed adaptation of Attack on Titan season four.
